Engage! Expo New York has traditionally been held in March or April.  In 2010, through a partnership with The Toy Industry Association (TIA), we at Engage Digital Media are pleased to announce that Engage! Conference and Expo, definitive event on youth entertainment technology, will co-locate with American International Toy Fair in February 2010 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Through the partnership, the full 25,000 attendees registered for either show will have full access to both show expo floors.

What dates will the two shows be held?

The 107th annual Toy Fair will be held February 14-17, 2010;
The 4th annual Engage! Expo will overlap with Toy Fair on February 16-17.
The two events will bring together more than 25,000 attendees, including 1,000 members of the media.

Where are the shows taking place?

Engage! Expo and Toy Fair will both will take place in the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York City. Engage! Expo both conference and tradeshow floor are located on Level 1 in Hall E.  The Engage! Javits entrance is at the corner of the building on 11th Ave and 34th St, facing 11 Avenue. Toy Fair will occupy the entire rest of Javits. You won't be able to miss it.

Why are Engage! Expo and Toy Fair co-locating?

Bringing these two important events for the youth entertainment market under one roof will make it easier for our shared audiences to capitalize on the digital media concepts and programming presented at Engage! Expo and the exposure to buyers and exhibitors that can be found at Toy Fair.

“Engagement” was highlighted as one of the top four toy trends identified during Toy Fair 2009 as digitally-native kids, video game-savvy dads and connected moms continue to embrace the relationship between technology, digital media and toys. As a result, youth entertainment companies are leveraging digital tools – cameras, communication and music devices, online Internet sharing software, social gaming and web-connected toys – to further enhance consumer interaction with their brands.

About Engage! Expo: Engage! Expo, offering a both a full conference program and a tradeshow floor, is the leading event for major entertainment companies, youth brands and advertising agencies to learn how to combine their existing products with the unparalleled engagement opportunities and revenue streams of online media, including virtual worlds, games and social media.

About Toy Fair: Toy Fair is the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere, bringing together more than 1,100 manufacturers, distributors, importers and sales agents from nearly 90 countries and over 361,000 net sq. feet of space to showcase their toy and entertainment products.
