Ms. Allison Luong is one of the Founders and the Managing Director of Pearl Research, where she is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the San Francisco- and China-based market research and consulting firm. Ms. Luong has more then eleven years experience in consulting, marketing and market research, delivering custom strategic planning services to a wide array of high-tech clients.

She leads Pearl Research’s ongoing analysis of the interactive entertainment, gaming, wireless and Internet markets. Her focus includes primary research on emerging markets and trends, go-to-market and differentiation strategies, consumer purchasing behaviors, competitive analysis, and management strategies.

Ms. Luong has been featured in media outlets such as Wired, Red Herring, Smartmoney, BBC News, and the Financial Times and appeared as a speaker at the Korean Ministry of Culture/Korean Game Development Institute’s Global Games Market Trends conference in Seoul. Ms. Luong graduated from the University of California at Berkeley.
