Mat Small handles all external communications for Virtual Greats, a platform to bring high-value, copyrighted material into virtual worlds and social networks. He also handles communications for Virtual Greats' sister company Millions of Us, a social media agency specializing in virtual worlds. Small was previously with Bite Communications, where he helped to launch Sun Microsystems in Second Life and played a key role on the Gaia Online account. With over ten years of experience in corporate communications, Small's experience includes work with old and new media outlets ranging from Geek Entertainment Television to The Economist. Small holds a B.A. in History from McGill University and an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
